INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF COMPARATIVE LAW
Thematic Congresses
Since 2008, the Academy organises a new type of congress which is held in the intermediate period between the General Congresses, thus also every four years. As its name indicates, each Thematic Congress addresses one general theme analyzed from a plurality of perspectives.
The Academy has planned Thematic Congresses in order to visit areas of the world which have so far less been frequented by General Congresses, namely Africa, Asia and Latin America.
