On 25th June 2019, the court of Montreuil found that “the [French] State has committed a fault because of insufficient measures taken in terms of air quality to remedy the overrun, between 2012 and 2016, in the region Ile -de-France, of the treshold values ​​for the concentration of certain polluting gases. The state was prosecuted for its inaction in the face of air pollution and the complaint had been filed by a mother and daughter with significant respiratory diseases.
