ELECTIONS OF NEW MEMBERS 2021
International Academy of Comparative Law
CURRENT PHASE: Publication of the final list of candidates approved by the Executive Committee on 21 May 2021
COMMITMENT OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE — DIVERSITY AND REPRESENTATION
The Executive Committee is committed to improving the representation and diversity of members (in terms of geography, gender, age and legal fields). The new EC elected in 2018 is fully committed to pursue this effort. Accordingly, propositions of candidates from Central and Southeastern Asia, Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America are strongly encouraged.
The EC will take into account this objective when deciding the final list of candidates. Specifically, the number of candidates from a single country could be limited.
